The surface of the ribbed (mesh) conductive shielding fabric is an uneven geometric shape composed of two sets of yarns perpendicular to each other in the warp and weft directions. The thickness and direction of each set of yarns are different, resulting in different textures on the surface. When two strands of yarn are parallel to each other, a smooth mesh is formed. If two sets of yarns are crossed, a raised stripe is formed, called a "raised rib", to increase the conductivity of the fabric.
When two sets of yarns intersect obliquely with each other, concave stripes are formed, called "concave ribs". This uneven structure gives the surface of the fabric good conductivity. At the same time, it also has anti-static and radiation resistance. Therefore, this type of fabric can be used as a grounding body in various circuits to prevent electrostatic induction, eliminate conductive emissions, improve system stability, and can be used for grounding various electronic devices.
