Chemical nickel plating improves electromagnetic properties: The electromagnetic properties of glass fibers were improved by chemical nickel plating, and a honeycomb core structure absorbing composite material based on epoxy resin was prepared. Unlike traditional honeycomb core structures, this method does not add conductive particles or metal magnetic micro powders, and only uses nickel plated fibers to enhance the material's absorption performance. The results show that the reflection loss is less than -10 dB in the range of 5.8-18 GHz, and the maximum reflection loss is about -29 dB.

Optimization of multi-layer sandwich structure: Researchers can further optimize the design of multi-layer sandwich structures by changing the combination of panels and sandwich layers to improve absorption performance. For example, it is possible to try using interlayer composite structures of different materials to increase the absorption effect.
2. Introduction of new absorbing materials: In addition to existing absorbing materials, it is also possible to consider introducing new absorbing materials such as graphene, nanoparticles, etc. to improve the absorption capacity and bandwidth of honeycomb core structure absorbing materials.
