Single layer structure Absorbing materialIt is a new type of material with broad application prospects. By changing the type, content, and thickness of the absorbing agent, the absorbing performance of the material can be effectively adjusted. In this regard, Advanced Institute Technology has conducted a series of research and achieved certain results.
Firstly, Advanced Institute Technology selected graphite powder as the absorber and used glass fiber as the reinforcement to prepare Resin based absorbing composite materialThey studied the effects of absorber content and material thickness on the absorption performance. The experimental results showed that as the graphite powder content and material thickness increased, the maximum absorption peak of the composite material gradually shifted towards lower frequencies. This indicates that the content of absorbing agent and the thickness of the material have a significant impact on the absorbing performance of composite materials. In the experiment, the sample with the best absorption performance achieved a maximum reflection loss of -16.8 dB, while the bandwidth with a reflection loss less than -10 dB was 3 GHz.
Secondly, Advanced Institute Technology also studied the effects of carbon black (CB) and carbon nanotubes (CNT) on the absorption and mechanical properties of glass fiber-reinforced epoxy resin composites. The experimental results show that the composite material with 3 * has the best absorption performance, with a maximum reflection loss of about -21 dB and an absorption bandwidth of about 3.6 GHz with a reflection loss less than -10 dB.
Additionally, Advanced Institute of TechnologyMulti walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) were used as absorbers and added to glass fiber reinforced epoxy resin composites to produce 2mm thick sheets. The experimental results show that the maximum reflection loss of the composite material is -29.2 dB in the range of 12-18 GHz, and the bandwidth with reflection loss less than -10 dB is 4.91 GHz. Meanwhile, this composite material also possesses excellent mechanical properties.
Finally, Advanced Institute Technology has also attempted to enhance the material's absorption performance by utilizing both electric loss type and magnetic loss type absorbers. They selected carbonyl iron powder (CIP) and CNT as absorbers, and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) as the matrix for testing. The experimental results show that the optimal absorption performance is achieved at 8.5 GHz when the CNT mass fraction is 0.6%.
In summary, single-layer structured absorbing materials have different AbsorberUnder the selection of material parameters, different absorption properties can be achieved. Advanced Institute Technology has selected absorbing agents such as graphite powder, carbon black, carbon nanotubes, and carbonyl iron powder, and optimized various absorbing properties by adjusting the material thickness and absorbing agent content. These research results will provide important theoretical and experimental foundations for further improving the performance of absorbing materials.
